ICHEP 2014: 37th International Conference on High Energy Physics

The 37th International Conference on High Energy Physics (ICHEP) is starting today at the Congress Palace in Valencia. The Conference, organized by the International Union of Pure and Applied Physics (IUPAP), is considered to be the most relevant meeting in the community of high energy physicists, attracting nearly a thousand researchers from around the world. The most recent results in the field of particle physics will be announced, focusing on cutting edge areas such as neutrino physics, dark matter, the properties of the Higgs Boson, the search for new particles beyong the Standard Model. The Conference will be attended by François Englert Nobel Prize 2013 laureate, lan Guth father of the theory of cosmic inflation, Rolf-Dieter Heuer CERN’s Director General, the managers of CERN and DESY in Europe, KEK in Japan and Fermilab in USA, among others.
