MANTS-Global Neutrino Network Meeting
8 September 2014
On 20-21 September, just after an IceCube Collaboration Meeting, the members of the International High-Energy Neutrino Community will meet at CERN for their annual MANTS meeting. MANTS stands for Mediterranean-Antarctic Neutrino Telescope Symposium.
This year, MANTS is organized for the first time under the roof of the Global Neutrino Network GNN which was founded one year ago. GNN includes members of all big underwater/ice neutrino projects: ANTARES, Baikal, IceCube and KM3NeT.
The meeting will be used for in-depth discussions of physics results and analysis methods, for the development of common standards and for work on a coherent worldwide strategy for neutrino astronomy. The IceCube meeting and MANTS are organized by Teresa Montaruli’s group at the University of Geneva.
More information about MANTS can be found online.
