APPEC Consortium Welcomes Canadian Funding Agencies CFI and NSERC as New Partners
The APPEC Consortium is pleased to announce the formal accession of Canada to its membership, represented by The Canadian Foundation for Innovation (CFI) and The Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council (NSERC). It marks a significant milestone in broadening and strengthening research-driven collaboration across the astroparticle physics community.
By joining the Consortium, CFI and NSERC reaffirm Canada’s commitment to the collective vision underpinning European astroparticle research activities and priorities. Their participation signals a clear intention to support the shared ambitions set out in the upcoming European Astroparticle Physics Strategy 2027–2036, deepening cooperation and accelerating progress across all joint initiatives.
Together, the APPEC Partners will combine their expertise and resources in an ambitious, closely aligned partnership — advancing astroparticle physics research and innovation at the frontier of this dynamic and well-established scientific field.
